About

cropped-img_2023.jpgI am an isotope geochemist with a focus on understanding past and present changes in the Earth’s carbon cycle and climate.  In 2014, I completed my Ph.D. in Geology and Geophysics from Yale University. I earned my BA in Geology from Pomona College in 2005. For the past two years I have been a postdoctoral scholar in geochemistry at Caltech, and I recently began a position as an Assistant Professor in the McGill University Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences. If you are interested in graduate or postdoctoral work at McGill send me an e-mail (peter.douglas at mcgill.ca)
